1. Introduction

PostManager ("we," "our," or "us") operates the postmanager.app website and social media scheduling application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service, and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Personal data. While using our Service, we may ask you to provide personally identifiable information including: email address, name, profile information, and payment information (processed securely by our payment processors). We also collect information you provide when setting up your brand profile and scheduling preferences.

Usage data. We automatically collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages of our Service you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, actions taken in the app (e.g. posts scheduled, queues created), and other diagnostic data.

Content data. We store the captions, media, links, and scheduling metadata you upload or create through the Service in order to schedule and publish your posts on your behalf.

3. Social account data

When you connect a social media account (such as Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, or others) to PostManager, we request OAuth access to that account in order to publish posts, retrieve analytics, and manage scheduling queues strictly as necessary to provide the functionality you requested.

Specifically, we may access:

  • Basic profile information (name, handle, profile picture) to identify and display your connected accounts
  • Permission to create and manage posts on your behalf on connected platforms
  • Post performance analytics (impressions, reach, engagement) where permitted by the platform's API
  • Account-level metrics for dashboard display

We only use social account data to provide features explicitly requested by you. We do not access, store, or share your social account data beyond what is essential for delivering the services you have opted into. You may revoke access at any time through PostManager settings or directly within each platform's account settings.

Important: PostManager does not use data obtained from social media platform APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. All data accessed through social platform APIs is used solely for providing the specific scheduling and publishing functionality requested by the user.

4. Google user data

If you choose to connect your Google account or Google-owned properties (such as YouTube) to PostManager, we may access certain information strictly as necessary to provide the functionality of our Service.

Specifically, we may request access to:

  • Your basic Google profile information (name, email address) for account identification
  • YouTube channel data and video metadata as required to schedule and publish content to YouTube
  • YouTube Analytics data for dashboard reporting, where you have granted permission

We only use this data to provide features explicitly requested by you. We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than operating the Service. PostManager does not use any data obtained from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or ML models.

PostManager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
